Gunslingers are among the most feared members of any society. These people spend their entire lives practicing to shoot and kill other humans. When they become masters of that art, they can end lives in seconds, before anyone else even knew there was a conflict.
As a gunslinger, you are an incredibly skilled gunman, the most deadly in the world. Your personal pride and specialty is likely wrapped up in your guns, and most gunslingers have jobs with titles like mercenary or assassin which utilize their one specialty. You likely consider combat an opportunity to practice and get better, not as an eventuality to be avoided. And with good reason, there are few fights you don't walk away from, usually because you leave your opponents a rotting heap before they ever draw their weapons.
Gunslingers in the Iron Kingdoms are almost exclusively from the Human Kingdoms. Elves don't tend to use guns, and Dwarves don't tend to favor such individualism. Among the humans though, gunslingers of note become people of legend. Watching a gunslinger cut down another human being in one on one combat is considered great entertainment, and the rich pay hefty fees to expert gunslingers for their “protection”.
You may be looking to cash in on such hefty fees, you may be seeking fame and fortune. Either way, the path of a gunslinger is rarely a quiet one.
First Strike
At the start of an encounter, you have combat advantage against any creatures that have not yet acted in that encounter.
Expertise
Once per round, when hit with a ranged attack while using a small arm against a foe granting combat advantage to you, make an Expertise check. To make an expertise check, roll a d20 then add half your level and your Intelligence modifier. The result of the expertise check will grant a damage bonus on the successful attack by the following table.

Weapon Affinity
Pistol Style- You prefer to fight up close and personal, and you just have a flair for using pistols. However, up close an personal fights tend to come closer than you may be comfortable with. You may use your pistol to make basic melee attacks as a 1d4 damage, small, one handed weapon. In addition you may apply the benefit of the Quick Load feat to all pistols.
Rifle Style- Your preference for rifles shows a mind for tactics, since you tend to keep your enemies far enough away that you can take them all down before they ever reach you. However, when they do get up close you're not helpless. You may use your rifle to make basic melee attacks as a 1d6 damage, versatile weapon.. In addition you may apply the benefit of the Quick Load feat to all rifles.
